Traditionalism and the women question in Nigeria: An appraisal of some Igbo traditions

Abstract

Taking a critical look on society one will see that some of our traditional practices have actually enslaved us to the extent that one begins to wonder whether these traditional practices were instituted to benefit the persons in society.
