Focus and Scope
UZU Journal is a flagship, multidisciplinary, high visibility, peer-review academic publication of the Department of History and International Studies, Faculty of Arts, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The journal calls for evidence-based research works, relevant to, but not limited to the broad scope of Arts, Management and Social sciences.

Peer Review Process
Guidelines for Publishing:
- Abstract should not exceed 250 words with five key words.
- Manuscripts being submitted should be written using the English mode of spelling.
- Contributors are at liberty to use MLA, APA or Chicago Manual of styles. However, the preferred style must be used consistently.
- Manuscript must be word processed in Microsoft word, Times New Roman fontstyle, 12-point font size, 1.5 line spacing, typed in A4 paper and not exceeding 15 pages length including endnotes.
- Cover page of completed papers bearing author(s) name, surname, and middle name including institutional affiliation should be on a separate file with title of paper as file name (so as to facilitate blind review of articles).
- Manuscript for publication in the journal must make an original contribution to knowledge in the chosen field, and must not have been submitted or published elsewhere.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
