GAZA AS THE EMERGING HOME OF VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN: A NEED FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL INTERVENTION

Abstract

Gaza is synonymous to destruction. The war between Israel and Hamas has created a lot of destructive and psychological atmosphere across many groups of individuals within the environment. But it seems that the most hit are the children, according to emanating information and news, many children are left at the mercy of trauma, death and frustration at different levels (UNICEF, 2023). The attack on the hospital where the Hamas fighters were hiding within the tunnel underneath have created a lot of catastrophes among the populace (ILO, UN-Women, 2023).
