My African Girl

Raphael Ejike Ibekwe(Blazingpen)

Abstract

Her skin is smudged with Shea butter,
pleasant and coruscating even when the sun is on its peak,
she is embellished with so much a gait; elegant when she walks.
Beauty is embedded and hidden in her.
There's no artificiality in her; even her colour,
her looks so daring and luring,
like a tranquil river, her voice echoes
her hair is woolen in beauty; this is her pride.
Her strength is found within her booby,
and her pride is the envy of all,
her smile arouses her man's attention; among the women, fairest she stands.
The gentleness of her hands protrude more loveliness of her colour.
She radiates the beauty of Africans,
blessed land and filled with artistry,
quintessential in all ramification of cultural diversity,
her alluring beauty is a sine qua non of African true beauty.
She is a paragon of virtue.
In her body, African exotic fragrance is looped.
