Abstract


Man has always been in search for better and favorable conditionsof existence and thus, has been on the move. People have movedand continue to do so in search of work or economic opportunities,to join family, or to study. Many have moved, in the course of humanhistory, to escape conflict, persecution, terrorism, human rightsviolations and in response to the adverse effects of climate change,natural disasters, or other environmental factors (World MigrationReport, 2023). According to the World Migration Report (2020)“…more people than ever, live in a country other than the one inwhich they were born.”
