Research and work into the unrecorded history of Amaeshi (Amaeri) is never a show peace of an hour, but an intertwined and tangled undertaking, which calls for hardwork, intelligent analysis, objectivity, perseverance, sympathy and common sense, especially where information about the people’s past life is scanty and patchy.
