Improvisation of Instructional Materials for Teaching and Learning of Economics in Nigerian Senior Secondary Schools
Abstract
Teaching is a process that involves the transfer of knowledge andskills from an experienced individual (teacher) to the learner(student). Teaching is a set of events designed to initiate, activateand support learning (Koko, 2015). Teaching aims at behaviouralchange in the learner. It involves all activities that are geared towardsthe transfer of knowledge. Teaching Economics to students in anunmistakable and impartial way helps students to master thefundamental standards of understanding the streamlining issues,economic problems, assists the students to understand and applyeconomic principles in an exact and empirical manner to promotean enduring interest of students in Economics (Chakra, 2016).
